What we are doing in the COVID-19 World? We are limiting booking history walking tours to a maximum of 6 guests ghost tours 8-13 guests.  We want to continue to practice safe distancing and sidewalk sharing and promote the best experience for our guests.  We have always offered powerpoint “slide shows” to accommodate guests that are willing but unable to walk our tours.

Our Gift Cards are Expired? We will accept gift cards that expired in 2020 & 2021, no questions asked.  We just ask that you consider tipping your guide.

Will you refund a tour if it is 100 degrees? If there is a heat advisory, that means a period of hot temperature expected by the local/national weather service. This can create a situation where heat illnesses are possible and it is recommended to stay out of the sun. Slabtown Tours LLC will try to reschedule the tour for interested guests. If the air quality is also unhealthy see next bullet point.

Do you lead tours if the air quality is bad? We ask that you please evaluate the air quality for you and your family. Your health is our top priority— let’s try to reschedule if needed.  If local schools and parks send out an advisory not to be active outside we will refund the booked tours.

What do I do if I can’t make it to the scheduled tour? There are no refunds for no-shows, but if you cancel before the start of the tour, you can reschedule for another date. I heard there is a waiver. Could you share the text with me?
Yes. Please e-mail Tanya March [email protected] for a PDF of the waiver.  Our insurance company is trying to keep up with Covid and it has been modified to adapt to these changing times. What are all the Alphabet Streets and who are they named after? See the complete list of streets for details.

Can I bring my dog on the tour? Yes well-behaved dogs can join our standard tours on leash. We do not enter any buildings on our regular tours.

Can Children take your Ghost Tours? All ages are welcome, though some material might not be suitable for children 12 and younger.  We only offer a flat price for our A Night With Ghosts Tour.  We are happy to create kid friendly private tours.

Do people wear costumes on your Ghost Tours? Costumes are not typical but they are always appreciated by our guide and the local ghosts.

What is your policy if there is ice or snow? It is not safe for us to operate tours on slippery streets. We will refund your tour costs.

Are your tours fun for children? We have a series of tours that are designed for Summer Camps and School Groups. Those are not our public tours. You know your child/children best if they love history or love scary ghost stories based on history they will enjoy your tour selection. Our tours are more akin to a college class or an extracurricular activity on foot.
